A Day at Twin-Star International

Meet Adam Osman:

Adam has worked in the Sales department for 3 years. Here's a little bit about him and the important role he plays in our company

What is your primary job function?

I work in the Sales Department checking orders to make sure that the pricing and payment terms on the order are correct, that we have the inventory, and that the accounts are in good standing. I also assist dealers and consumers over the telephone with a wide array of questions pertaining to their orders and our products.

How long have you worked for Twin-Star?

I have been with the company for a little over 3 years.

What is the best part of your job?

My job involves a good mix of helping people over the phone as well as working on the computer. These are two things I enjoy doing, so the days pass quickly most of the time.

What is your favorite part about working at Twin-Star?

The thing I like most about our company is my co-workers. From top to bottom, there are so many quality individuals on our team, very intelligent and hardworking people. But everyone likes to joke around which makes work a lot of fun.

How would you describe a day in the office to a friend?

Writing and responding to emails, answering phone calls, processing orders, using the internet for research.

Please give a brief rundown of what your typical day-to-day projects are, and an idea of which TSI departments you interact most with.

A Typical day is pretty much what I described previously. I interact with the Accounting department mostly making sure accounts are credit-worthy before shipping product out. I work with Operations as well to make sure we have ample inventory in stock or on its way. I also often work with our Consumer Services department, as some of our customer service duties overlap.

What's one of your favorite/stand-out memories in all your time with the company?

On two occasions, the owner of the company took us all out to dinner and a movie which was awesome. We saw Quantum of Solace and Iron Man 2, two great action flicks.
